Our most recent Goddess addition to the team is Laura Roura, playing the cello (and with vocal suprises!). Laura Roura i Foixa was born in Girona (Spain), started playing cello at the age of 9 in the Music School of Girona. With age 15, she went to Barcelona to study at the Professional Conservatory of Girona.

For two summers (2008-2009) she attended the International Course of Music in Cervera, Spain. At age 18, Laura moved to the Netherlands to continue her professional studies. She attained her Bachelor's at the Utrecht Conservatory of Music after which she proceeded acquiring her Master's at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.

She played with many renowned orchestras, such as the Noord Nederland Orkest, in music halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. She recorded two albums with the Spanish songwriter Guadi Galego and together with her Pop Music Band she did a tour through the north of Spain during the summer of 2018.

Additionally, Laura has been teaching private lessons for the past 5 years.

We are honored that Laura has joined us for Reclaiming the Goddess.
